Job Responsibilities:
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors and molding
- Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, doorframes and porticos
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience in finish carpentry
- Additional 5+ years’ experience in rough carpentry preferred
- Extensive knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw and jigsaw
- Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time
- Self-starter, positive, enthusiastic, goal oriented and having the desire to exceed expectations
- Persistence, results driven, time-management, customer service, high level of energy, organized, professionalism, ability to learn product knowledge and positive outlook.
