This multi-family home built in 1911, containing 2625 square feet, was one of Brothers Aluminum latest Siding/Window/Soffit/Trim and Fascia remodeling projects.
It was with great excitement that Brothers Aluminum embarked on revitalizing this beautiful property. The project began with the removal of the existing windows, the examination and reinforcement of the framing to seal out moisture and drafts, followed by the introduction of pristine new Andersen windows.
Next was the rip off of the existing siding down to the sheathing, followed by a snug new coat of Tyvec housewrap — which functions as a weather-resistant barrier, preventing rain from getting into the wall assembly while allowing water vapor to pass to the exterior.
The next step included the introduction of Alside’s flagship siding product, Charter Oak®, combining authentic wood beauty with unmatched durability, performance and maintenance freedom. The color of choice was the stunning Harbor Blue.
PVC aluminum coil was introduced to the fascia, window/door capping. It’s designed to protect the house from water and insect damage while adding to the beauty of your home. No more need to paint every year with this strong durable aluminum fascia.
The end result is this revitalized beauty standing proud amongst its neighbors.
